All vehicle rentals in Shoreham are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement provided at the time of booking confirmation or vehicle pick-up. This agreement outlines specific terms, conditions, insurance coverage, fees, and your obligations for the rental. In case of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will take precedence.

Vehicle Rental Requirements

Booking and Payment Details
- Reservations can be made via our website, by telephone, or directly at our Shoreham office. A deposit may be needed to confirm your booking. Full payment and a security deposit are generally required upon vehicle pickup. All prices are listed in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, with secure processing through trusted payment providers.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ depending on the type of booking and the notice period provided. For precise information, please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or no-shows may incur additional charges.
Prohibited Activities
Prohibited Vehicle Uses
- Prohibited activities include any use of the vehicle for illegal purposes or actions. Engaging in racing, rallying, or off-roading is not allowed. Transporting hazardous materials or sub-letting the vehicle to unauthorized individuals is prohibited. Driving under the influence of substances or exceeding weight and passenger limits are serious violations. Additionally, operating the vehicle beyond the designated geographical areas without prior approval is not permitted.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental cancellation and fees.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Shoreham will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims is limited to the total amount paid for the rental in the past 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence or for fraudulent conduct.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with any disputes falling under the jurisdiction of their courts.
